Yes, you read it right, the MFT gals are at it again! The August Design Team Creative Challenge is all about putting away the markers, pencils and paints and sharing projects featuring No Coloring!
At first I was like 'are you on crack?' because I love colouring and don't think I could really make a card right now without using my Copics. But it is all about pushing yourself out of that comfort zone and challenging your mind. God, I sound a little like Oprah! HA.....
I decided to stamp the Pure Innocence Astronaut Girl on vellum so I could have a better idea on where I wanted to put her on my card. She looked so good on it, I just decided to glue the vellum to the paper and went from there. The October Afternoon Rocket Age paper couldn't be more perfect for her too. I added some seam binding ribbon by Barbara (thanks again Bar) and used one of the new Die-namics released this month, Mini Pennants, for the final touch. I have to say, I really loved how this turned out and will definitely try this again.
Make sure you head on over to Kim's blog to see the list of all the designers who have dared to take up this challenge! Ciao!
