Morning friends!  I wanted to play along with the MFT Wednesday sketch from last week as I loved the layout.  So I thought I better post it as the new sketch is out tomorrow. 

Have you seen this new PI from My Favorite Things yet, OMG, I just love her.  She is totally my daughter or really any girl giving attitude to her Mother!   I love her arms on her hips, totally sassy!

MFT Sketch #66

Hi honey's!!!

I was able to do the MFT sketch this week and boy, do I love how it turned out!  Sometimes you see a sketch and think  'yikes, that looks tough'  but then it ends up way better than you expected, just like this one. 

I love this new set from MFT called Big Greetings, the larger font is perfect for cards.  Simple yet perfect sentiments.   I think I will save this for Joely's grade 9 graduation card as she is off to high school in September...maybe I can talk her into playing with her Barbie's again!!!     Ciao...

Howdy MFT!

Happy Sunday morning!! 

Joely asked if I could make a card for her to give to her step-sister for her birthday and of course I jumped at it.  I love making cards for others more than anything.  And as I just picked up the new October Afternoon Sasparilla paper, I knew I had to use the new PI Cowgirl from MFT to go along with it!  How cute it this hey, I hope Miranda likes it!   I used the MFT Wednesday sketch for the layout to help me out with this.

I know I will be using this set a lot.   Our Calgary Stampede is in July and it is the 100 Anniversary so I am sure I will want to make cards for all my girls inviting them to celebrate it with me!  What happens at Stampede, stays at Stampede!!  HA.....

Blog working, check! A MFT sketch done, check!

I'm back!!!  And let's hope for a very long time!  Damn blog problems fixed and hopefully won't return. But if they do, I won't let it last this long and I will just move to another blog server!  So let's get on with it shall we.....

I did the MFT sketch for this week.  I also used the fact it was St. Patty's Day yesterday for the theme of my card and it will be going to a well deserving  friend!

I love how my pal Jackie Pedro sews her sentiments to the front of her cards so I kind of stole that idea from her.  I know she wouldn't mind cause she rocks and is so brilliant!  

Ok, I am going to make this short and sweet till I know for sure my blog isn't going to act up.  See you tomorrow for my Loonie Challenge card!  Ciao...

Ola Joely!

Happy New Year!!!  I can't believe it is 2012 either!  Where has the time gone....

My wonderful, beautiful daughter left for Mexico today with her Dad and family for a week and it will be the first time I won't be able to talk to her while she is away in 14 years.  It is going to be a long week I think....I feel bad for my husband!  LOL

I wanted to make her a card and stick it in her luggage so she would find it when she unpacked as a little reminder of how much she will be missed but also to let her know I hope she has a great time.  

This Pure Innocence stamp is actually wearing a one piece on the original image but I added a line and a belly button to make it look like a bikini. Joely's suit isn't an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini, but it is close!  I am sure her Dad will have a heart attack when he see's it!  LOL 

I also used the My Favorite Thing sketch from the past week, the last of the year!  I can't wait to see what Kim comes up with for 2012!  Have a great day!   Ciao....

It's Wednesday which means Hump Day and MFT's sketch day!  Can you believe I have to work on Friday which is Remembrance Day....don't get me started!!  Ok, enough crying, let's get to it. 

This Pure Innocence was from the November release and I hadn't inked her up yet and I am not sure why not, she is soooo cute!  She so reminds me of my niece Katie so I made her hair just a tad bit longer to match hers.  I haven't been using my embellishments lately so on this one I doubled, maybe tripled up.  I find I get using one thing too much and forget about the rest of my goodies.  Speaking of goodies, Gingerbread Latte's are out at Starbucks....yummy!!!
