Loonie's have moved to Monday's

Morning!  3 posts in row, crazy I know hey!  But I need to catch up for the past 2 months that I haven't blogged....yes, 2 months!!!  I can't believe it either.  And my Loonie girls and I decided to move our challenge to Monday's as it gives us all weekend to create as we are all working girls, and I don't mean that literally.....HA!!  

It was Reg's turn to pick and she wanted us to use pins on our project which I love as I have tons of them and never use them so thanks GF! 

We were invited to friend's of ours sons first birthday so I had to make him the cutest card ever and what better than Big Bear from TCP.  I had to buy that MME paper called Happy Days when it came out as I love Kraft so I knew it had to be in my stash.  But to be honest,  it is really tough to work with as it is so dark especially to mix and  match, but worked for this boy card. I hope Matthew likes it....I know his Mom Kdarla will!  Ok, off to work I go...Ciao!

Loonie Stampers Challenge

  Happy Friday!  We are off to a wedding this weekend so I hope it stops SNOWING for our drive...yes, I said that 'S' word!!  Us Calgarians are truly sick of it!  Does anyone who doesn't get snow in the winter want to take in a really nice family from Canada next winter...I cook and clean!!!  

Let's get to the challenge shall we!  Dee's pick for us was a little tough for me in just using pattern paper as the base.  So I took that as no layers, well I guess I could have added one but I try to do my best at not cheating.  HA....   

 I am going to give this card to the the Bride and Groom on Saturday, I hope they love it. 

Congrats Jody and Grant!!!  We love you! 

Loonie Stampers Challenge

 Friday....YES!!! 

The colour challenge today is from my girl Char!  At first I struggled with the colours but with Easter coming up, I knew that theme would work for my card!  I used Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse and Summer Sunrise.  I had inked up quite a few of this MFT bunny so he was all ready to be coloured!  Let's go and see what the girls did ok!

 And look what stamps I got in the mail just in time for this challenge, Kim Hughes new Paper Smooches stamps!!!  As soon as I saw her releases, I pushed 'add to cart' so fast, it would make your head spin!  Love her stuff and so glad to see she is 'back on the market'!! 

I also used Jen's sketch for March which I loved!  All the panels just worked and I love when a card comes together with ease.  Alright everyone, have a wonderful Friday and maybe see you this weekend!  Ciao!

What's up!!!  Well, me being late for our Loonie Challenge that's what!!  I am sure the 'ladies' will understand!!  The colours this week are from Maria and as soon as I saw them I thought Easter but it is a little too soon for that.  So I pulled out some of my new MFT stamps I hadn't used and coloured away.

Loonie Stampers Challenge

Welcome to another 'crazy colour choice' for our Loonie Challenge.  My girl Char decided to really throw us a curve ball and gave us these colours to work with.  Now my favorite of the four is the plum pudding which is funny as that is the one I used the least on my card!   I see so many great cards using the rhinestone stickers so I picked some up at Mike's the other day and decided to try it out. Not sure if it really suits this card but I am sure going to use them again, they are lovely!  Don't you just love that new Pure Innocence from MFT!  Too freakin' cute!
