Happy Wednesday!  Thanks for coming to visit and on such a good day as it is MFT sketch challenge day!  Not only that but I am off work today enjoying the last few days of summer here in Canada by going golfing!!!  Watch out Tiger....

It was my Mom's birthday last week and I used this weeks sketch for her card!  When I saw the layout, I knew what image I was going to use!  I love when that lightbulb goes off in your head!  Makes things so much eaiser!

I pulled out more of my stash of Stampin' Up designer paper and I can tell you, that bin is slowly going down.  I was button crazy for awhile and noticed that I hadn't used one on any of my cards lately so I thought I would catch up on this card alone!  Add some pretty lacey ribbon and viola, complete!

TCPTUES170 - Vegas Baby!

Morning!  How has the weekend been so far?  I was able to squeese in my very first sketch challenge with The Cat's Pajama's.  Last month they released the cutest Bunny ever and I had to have him.  So I thought doing this challenge was the perfect opportunity to ink him up! 

 My favorite Aunt is turning 65 today and to celebrate, she is off to Vegas tomorrow with her daughter and some girlfriends!  Vegas doesn't know what is about to hit them!  You have seen 'The Hangover' and 'Bridesmaids', well those are tame to what she will do to that town!!!  LOL   I had some of that Jackpot paper from SU left over and I knew it would work great with the theme of her card!  I hope she hits it big while she is there too!  Have a great birthday Auntie...Let 'em roll!

Loonie Stampers Challenge

Morning!  Dee decided that we needed to be more creative and add a pocket to our cards!  I think the 'new baby' smell is getting to her.   But I have to be honest, I thought her idea was great and actually pleased with my card.  Everytime I go to Starbucks I take a gift card because they are so neat, I think I have over 10 blank ones sitting here in my office.

I picked up the new Basic Grey 6X6 pad of Marjolaine and love the colours of it.  The pocket is a die-cut from SU that I hardly use, but don't we all have stuff we had to have and it is collecting dust somewhere in your craft space.   Now, let's go and see what my girls did this week.  Ciao!

Mojo Monday - Round or Square?

Monday already...this weekend flew by!  I will have to tell you later about my Copic class I took yesterday, wicked!!  But first my Mojo Monday card. 

I usually always go with the square but I thought why not venture out of my comfort zone and go round...bad idea!  Look how I cut off the top of the card...yes, I could of started again but that is just a waste of good cardstock!  And then my 'hi' went wonky and now that I see it up on my post, I should of done something around the edge on the scallops, holes or sewing or something....argh!  I promise to do better next week!!   LOL   I used this cute image from Stamping Bella from the Turtle Tots collection!  Love him!

Mojo Monday

Last Day of August you say???  Where has the summer gone!!!  My daughter and I went to get the last of her school supplies on Saturday and of course went to the busiest store in the city Staples!  I have never seen so many 'happy' parents especially when I was singing down the ailes 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year'!!!  Have you seen the commercial, priceless!   Joely was not impressed!!! LOL

Ok, onto my Mojo card!  Today I headed to my Bella stash and pulled out my new Gossipabella!  Love her hair!  This new dp from Stampin' Up called Woodland Walk is wicked, I just love it.  It goes along with one of the new wicked colours Early Espresso and if you  haven't seen it yet, it will be another must have in your collection. I know it will replace my addiction to Chocolate Chip or at least supplement it for awhile.

Loonie Stampers Challenge

As you read this, I am with my Loonie girls in Ontario enjoying all the craziness that is a Loonie Stamper!  I am pretty sure by now one of us is in jail....can you guess which one?!?!  We also saw 'Eclipse' yesterday and I know it was amazing!   We are off to Bellaland today and I am sure I will be leaving with lots of goodies!  Last time I saw Em was on the Stamping Cruise back in October 2008, I can't believe it was that long ago too! 

Today's challenge is brought to you by my girl Char (go and see her kitchen reno's here..OMG!! I can't wait to eat in that kitchen). This card is with me right now waiting in an envelope to give to our hostess at the retreat we are at....I know it will be well deserved!
