Loonie Sketch Time

Hi Peeps!  I am saying hello from sunny Fairmont Hot Springs, BC.  The family and I are taking a well deserved week off to enjoy some sun and relaxation.  But I wanted to make sure I posted my Loonie Challenge for you all to see cause it is so darn cute.....teehee!

It was my pick this week and I gave the girls a sketch too use!  Look at this cute guy from it's a Jungle Out There from There She Goes Stamps.  The whole set is just too adorable and especially when you can layer them up like Jessica does!!!  I bow to her!

Forget, Me???

That title is so true with me these days, I don't know where my mind is!!!  Must be age....yuck!

I snuck,  just in time, my card for Jen's SFYTT sketch for last month!  I wanted to wait and use my new There She Goes Stamps for the card as they were the sponsor, and I got them just in time on Monday and the card had to be in by midnight!  Talk about rushing.  But I love how it turned out!

I love Jessica's cards lately!  She uses tons of layers on her images and they look wicked.  I mean look at all of these she recently did, so hot!!!   So I kind of copied her brilliance for mine.  I mean come on, could 'Ellie' be any cuter....NOT!!!!    Have a great day....Ciao!

Enjoyed my Sweet Sunday!

Monday already??!!   While, let's look on the bright side, only 4 sleeps till the weekend!   I didn't do much yesterday other than put around in my craft area trying to organize it better, so I thought why not make something while I was at it.  I received some new stuff from There She Goes Stamps on Friday and had to ink up this cute new set called Wonderful Winter Wishes, aren't they freakin' adorable!  I also used Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch for the layout.  I enjoy making a card so much more when I have a sketch to work with! 

 If anyone has any tips on how to sew  on a circle properly, I would truly appreciate it.  I was laughing so hard when I was doing it, thinking to myself "am I actually going to put this on my card then post it?" as it is soooo bad!  I even hid the worst part underneath the image.  But then it worked out as I could put the sentiment on the white space so I guess it wasn't all bad!

Mojo Monday

Monday already???  Which means I am going back to work today...there are so many four letter words I would love to put here but this is a family program today so I better not!  At least Mary gave us a great sketch this week for Mojo Monday.

When I received my package from Jessica at There She Goes Stamps and ripped the sucker open, I squealed like a school girl seeing Justin Bieber!   I love all her new sets and this one especially!  The images are super cute and the sentiments with it are darling!  I hope you can see where I was going with the sketch....yeah, me neither!  LOL  But I do love how the card turned out.

Loonie Stampers 100th Challenge

Our 100th challenge...I can't believe it either!  But here we are and this week it was Regan's turn to pick what we did. I went with orange as since I got my new orange shoes from Char, I keep looking for something orange to wear with them!  I also used my new set from There She Goes stamps, A Drink a Day!  It is a great one...make sure you check it out as there are some great sentiments to go along with all the great images! I got to help out Jessica  little with it, it was fun!

I was with my Loonie's a week ago and then working at my head office for a week (that is why I have been MIA) so I haven't been crafting and need to catch up on my 'card jobs' this weekend!   But I have guests arriving tomorrow for a few days and with the Calgary Stampede starting yesterday, I am unsure where I am going to fit all this in.   I see a 'sick day' in my future...LOL!

I want to share one picture with you before my challenge card and that is all of us in Stamping Bella land.  We were able to see Emily (Char and I got to meet her on the cruise a couple years back) and missed her, she is so great!  My picture with Em didn't turn out, which is too bad as we were all laughing so hard! We had a blast there....like kids in a Candystore! 

The rest of our trip was great!  Then I was off to Aurora, Ontario working in the heat...OMG, it was crazy, but to be honest, I loved it, we don't get enough really hot days here in Calgary so I took full advantage and spent lunches outside!

Mojo Monday x 2!

I hadn't posted my Mojo Monday card from last week so today you are getting 2 for the price of 1!    

This is last weeks sketch at the Mojo Monday blog.  I had quite a time with those 3 strips and figuring out what to use there so I went with ribbon and I think my decision was a good one!  I don't use my Poppies set from There She Goes stamps nearly enough!  I love it so much and so fun to colour.  I am pretty sure there isn't yellow poppies but it worked for the card!

I will definitely use this sketch again (don't I say that a lot and then a new sketch comes out and I love that one too) but really, all the stuff just came together on this card.  My FIL loved it which made it all the better!

It's the TSG Mother of All Blog Hops!

TSG's Dance/Beautiful Spring Blog Hop Challenge

Welcome to There She Goes Stamps Sneak Peek and hop!  Today we are introducing two new sets called Dance and Beautiful Spring!  They both are beautiful sets and dear to Jessica's heart.  Dance "Stamps for a Cause" was created with her dear friend in mind that passed away in early January.  Linda was a member of the stamping group Jessica belonged to that got together and did what they loved most, create great cards!  She was taken from us too soon because of a disease called Amyloidosis.  $4 from the sale of each set will be donated to the Amyloidosis Support Group in Linda's name as they were there when her family needed help during that difficult time.

My next card to show you is for the set called 'Beautiful Spring' and I will tell you, if Spring doesn't start showing up soon here in Calgary, well, I might go postal!  Enough of the snow already...I know it is only February but come on...I swear it snowed last August and hasn't stopped!  I need to wear my sandals and dresses, they make me happy!
