Morning fellow crafters!  Almost the weekend and I can't wait.  The weather here is supposed to be amazing and I plan to take advantage of it! 

I threw together this little number last night while watching The Walking Dead, OMG, love that creepy show!  This is for the MFT Wednesday sketch challenge.

I love the photography sets and die's MFT has right now.  They were on backorder for some time but as soon as I saw them in my cart, I pushed 'order now' so fast to make sure no one else stole my stuff!!! 

I love paper piecing the Pure Innocence girls!  Seems a waste of good pattern paper not too!  I used a few Die-namics on my card, I count 4 I think.  Love those damn things!

Sweet Sunday with Katie!

My adorable, sweet, way too cute niece's birthday is today and we are having a party for 5th year with us!  She was born pre-mature, 4 lbs at 32 weeks, and today she is a crazy, energetic, amazing girl!  Happy Birthday Katie!

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch for her card.  This layout was fun to create with.  Katie loves going to Build-a-bear so I thought I would make her card hinting on what my gift is to her!  Hope she enjoys it!

More Love Fest!

Yes, I made another card for the Love Fest over at Splitcoast. Today's card was for the MFT challenge posted yesterday so I knew I had to participate with my old Design Team mates!

I also took advantage and used the MFT Wednesday sketch for my card as having a base to start with is the only way to create for me.  I struggle without a sketch sometimes.

Love Fest with SCS

Look what I played along with today, a challenge with Splitcoast, crazy hey! 

I loved the colour combo the Cat's Pajamas inspiration challenge was using so I thought I would try it out.  I coloured PJ yellow first but he was way too bright, looked a little creepy actually!

Happy Sunday Everyone! 

I have had all day to just sit here and hang in my craft room and play!  Don't get many of those days much anymore so I am taking full advantage of it. 

I played along with the MFT Sketch from Wednesday and came up with this one.

I can see now that I need to re-ink my Memento pad! Better get that done before the next card!  I bought myself a glue gun for those MFT Die-namic roses as I was told that was the way to go to get them to stay.  It was my first time with a glue gun and well lets say I have a few burnt fingers!

Don't fall off your chair when you see how quick I got this challenge done!  But I had a surge of creativity last night while watching 'The Lucky One', have you seen it??  Is it wrong that I think Zac Efron is hot???  Now onto my sketch before all our minds head into the gutter....too late??  :)

I really loved this sketch! I really need birthday cards so I may use this one for a few more as it was super quick to put together. 

Have I told you how much I love MFT!  I got my new stuff already from the gang there and yes, the shipping is a little much for us Canadians, but so worth it because I use to be just getting my order when the next month was being released.  This way I get a whole month to play before the next release!

My Favorite Thing is MFT!

Good Superbowl Sunday to you all!  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  Are you watching the game??  Not sure either, depends if I can get the game in my craft room... :)!

I was thrilled to see that one of my cards was named Favorite Find for January with MFT, love when that happens!  

I wanted to show you some cards I had made which I was inspired by this card from Mona Pendleton for the MFT Guest Designer sketch.  I am not submitting them to win as I felt they were too much like Mona's, ok almost exactly, but I loved them so much I had to make a bunch to give out to friends. 

I LOVED this card from Mona, I just couldn't stop making them.  Right now I am working on a green and purple one too! 

This new image from the Doodle Garden line called Sweet Friend couldn't be easier to colour and so much fun too!

Sweet Friend

Hello Peeps!  Weekend is almost here, I can feel the excitement building.  I have lots of stuff planned so lets hope I get it all done. 

I was able to sneak in a little crafting time this week and did Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I have so much paper to use before I start buying more, but it is so hard not to push 'add to cart'!  Have you seen all the new lines coming out from everyone like MME to Cosmo Cricket!  Damn....this is why I need to craft more just to buy more!  :)

i heart u MFT!

Morning and happy Monday to you!  Everyone have a good weekend?  Good...me too!  I was able to sneak in some time to craft, always love that!  I made this one this weekend for the MFT Wednesday sketch challenge this past week. 

I had a heck of a time deciding what to use for those two angled strips, a die-namic, pattern paper or ribbon?  So I went with the ribbon but now that I see it, I wish I would have choose something else, you ever feel that way?   But I do love that new Valentine paper from Bo Bunny.  I couldn't find the small 6X6 pad but did pick up some of the 12X12 size.  So freakin' cute!  And of course that PI called Love you with All my Heart.

First of 2013

Wow, are you like me and can't believe it is 2013!  I remember when we were all wow'd about the year 2000 and that seems like just a couple of years ago!  But I think this year is going to be  good one! 

One of my resolutions for this year is to do more challenges. When I look back I hardly created at all, or at least posted them.  So this year I am really going to try and post a couple times a week....wish me luck! 

First one of the year, of course, is the MFT Weekly sketch.  Loved the simplicity of it!

I have had this cutie PI for quite some time an this is the first time I have inked her up...like many of  my others!  I just love them and need to have them all.  I kind of booboo'd on her pearls, but love her boa!
