Sweet Sunday Sketch Surprise

Hello my fellow crafters!  I was totally pumped when I saw that my card was picked for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch last week which means I get to be the guest designer for today's sketch.  Pinch me now! 

I had fun creating this card but did have a bit of trouble with the small corner panel but I think it turned out ok.

Easter is just around the corner so I thought I would get a jump on my cards with this cutie from MFT.  Paper piecing is one of my favorite things to do and so easy too.  Especially when you have a one piece 'outfit' like this guy.

Sweet Sunday with Katie!

My adorable, sweet, way too cute niece's birthday is today and we are having a party for 5th year with us!  She was born pre-mature, 4 lbs at 32 weeks, and today she is a crazy, energetic, amazing girl!  Happy Birthday Katie!

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch for her card.  This layout was fun to create with.  Katie loves going to Build-a-bear so I thought I would make her card hinting on what my gift is to her!  Hope she enjoys it!

Sweet Friend

Hello Peeps!  Weekend is almost here, I can feel the excitement building.  I have lots of stuff planned so lets hope I get it all done. 

I was able to sneak in a little crafting time this week and did Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

I have so much paper to use before I start buying more, but it is so hard not to push 'add to cart'!  Have you seen all the new lines coming out from everyone like MME to Cosmo Cricket!  Damn....this is why I need to craft more just to buy more!  :)

Hi Peeps!  I know, it has been awhile. I just haven't had any time to stamp till today!  Joely was out with friends and Rory was curling so I snuck in a card, or two, while they were gone.  

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch for this card and loved how it turned out. I did flip it on its side though.  I have been coveting this MFT set, Behind the Camera, for sometime and finally bit the bullet and ordered it, so glad I did!

Sweet Sunday Sketch

Happy Sunday! 

Today is my daughters singing recital, I don't know who is more nervous, her or I!  All I know is that when she is up on that stage, I couldn't be more proud!  You rock Peanut Butter!

So Karen Giron put out a DT call for her Sweet Sunday Sketch and I thought, why not!  I love me a sketch and hers are always awesome. 

I just got my recent MFT order and love this new à la mode, the light bulb is so freakin' cute! And all the new die's especially the hexagon one.  Make sure you head on over and see all the submissions for her call, they are amazing. Good Luck to everyone!

Loonie for Glitter!

Hey Peeps!  Sorry, my card is a little late today.  I took the pictures of it but forgot to edit them so I had to wait till I got home for work....damn job interfering with my crafting!

For our Loonie Challenge today, Regan had us using glitter!!  Ok, first, I hate glitter, gets everywhere, drives me crazy!  So for me, Stickles are the way to go!  I added some on her crown, shoes and the candles.  I also used Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday sketch from this past week, loved it! 

Make sure you go and see what the Loonie chicks did with their glitter, I hope they didn't get it in unwanted places!  teehee

Sweet Sunday ... on Friday!

Enjoyed my Sweet Sunday!

Monday already??!!   While, let's look on the bright side, only 4 sleeps till the weekend!   I didn't do much yesterday other than put around in my craft area trying to organize it better, so I thought why not make something while I was at it.  I received some new stuff from There She Goes Stamps on Friday and had to ink up this cute new set called Wonderful Winter Wishes, aren't they freakin' adorable!  I also used Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch for the layout.  I enjoy making a card so much more when I have a sketch to work with! 

 If anyone has any tips on how to sew  on a circle properly, I would truly appreciate it.  I was laughing so hard when I was doing it, thinking to myself "am I actually going to put this on my card then post it?" as it is soooo bad!  I even hid the worst part underneath the image.  But then it worked out as I could put the sentiment on the white space so I guess it wasn't all bad!

I am so behind on my posting, I apologize.  With my daughter's 13th birthday on Monday and the excitement of my new shoes, I have been a bit frazzled!!   LOL

I did do Karen's great sketch yesterday as Father's Day is coming up so I needed to get started on my cards.  I love how this turned out!   That bug from Papertrey is so easy to colour.  I think I will add something onto the license plate, I just noticed now I left it blank.  OOPS!

Sweet Sunday Sketch

I had a bit of time this morning before we start our yard work (no rain or snow expected today) so I decided to do Karen Giron's sketch challenge. 

I have a couple special birthdays this month (one being Joely) but this one I made for a dear friend who loves getting pampered on her day!  So I knew this Pure Innocence stamp by MFT would be perfect along with a gift card inside!
